Snorkeling is similar to swimming on the surface of the water. The snorkelers will enjoy these underwater activities. While Scuba diving is different from this. Scuba is an entirely different sport. Equipment

Both the activities are different and the equipment required for both of them also varies. The primary piece of equipment required for Scuba diving is a pressurized gas tank with tube, a wet suit and foot fins are also mandatory when you are going for scuba. If you are a novice, then you also need a guide to accompany you. You won’t be getting any air from the outside; the air supply will be provided from the pressurized gas tank.

You will have access to the air that from the outside only. A mask, snorkeling breathing tube and foot fins are the required equipment for snorkelers.

In both games, the divers will have masks which can also be adjusted as per the requirement of people.

Training

This is the most important thing that differs a snorkeler from scuba diver. A scuba diver is well trained in order to face any kind of situations in the sea. As these divers go into the deep sea, it is important for them to be prepared for any kind of contingent situations. This is the reason why they are trained very hard. You should learn how to breath properly under water with the help of these gas tanks.

Usually scuba diving needs some days of training and people without proper training aren’t allowed to do the diving at all. As there is a great requirement of training and equipment, scuba diving will cost a lot. But the amount that you pay for this sport is worth it.

On the other hand snorkeling won’t take much of your time. Any person who knows swimming can try snorkeling with ease. Even if you never tried snorkeling, you can become a pro in that game with little practice. If you are a professional swimmer, then you can even go a little deep into the water but it is important for you to be careful and you should also know how to breath under water.
